The Hebrew Book of the Dead, the Biblical story of the soul's creation, life beyond the grave, and rebirth into the Promised Land is drawn from direct literal translation of the Ancient Hebrew. Zhenya Senyak's commentary for each section is preceded by Hebrew and English text with Scriptural citation.

The book is 218 pages, including an analytical commentary by Rabbi Jonathan Slater, an introduction by Huston Smith, and a workshop on the Songs of Ascent, a series of Psalms to accompany the soul entering a new World. Although the text is Ancient, there are classical Kabbalist and contemporary scientific elements used to illuminate this most protean vision of human spiritual life in a body of mud.

About the Author
Zhenya Senyak, teacher and author, is the grandson of Rabbi Joseph Levenstein, founder of Tifereth Torah synagogue in Brooklyn. He studied Hebrew and Jewish mysticism with teachers in New York, California, and Jerusalem. He lives in South Florida.

Then Sarah drops Charlene, bullies her, treats her as a pet, and worse of all, ignores her. Charlene has a brief love affair with a kind, handsome guy, and she almost becomes an ordinary teen, able to love without hatred and obsession, until Sarah beckons, and Charlene is trapped again.
